Sites that qualify for the star:

• the site identifies an agent or team by name on its home page

• If it is a Team site, the major team members must be identified by name.

• official members only

Sites that don't qualify for the star:

• Company or brokerage site

• Anonymous site

• Team sites that don't name the team leaders.

Comments & Reasoning:

We have nothing against company sites at all, but you're going to end up with an agent.  We just think it is better for you to pick your own agent rather than get one by "luck of the draw" (or lack of luck). 

As for anonymous sites, they try to capture you as a "lead" -- and they are often operated by agents behind the scenes, or by others wanting to sell your name to agents, either for a fee or for a share of the commission.  We don't do that on our site.
